Site Survey & Risk Analysis

At SoftTrace we believe that in order to provide you with the best software solution to optimise your process we need you to walk us through how the current process works. The experienced SoftTrace site survey team will, at your request, carry out a current process audit, highlighting areas where cost saving improvements can be made with the SoftTrace system. We will meet you on site and listen to your needs, as you identify “pain points” in your process. It may be that there are inaccuracies in the data being captured for calculation of variable composition in raw milk at intake, or that process deviations are causing increased downgrade or rework, whatever the problem SoftTrace will assist in providing a cost saving solution.

Project Management

When our customers start any project, they want it to be delivered efficiently, on time and on budget with minimum disruption to the day-to-day workings of the production facility. That is why at SoftTrace when we manage a project we assign a dedicated SoftTrace Project Co Ordinator to work with the customers in house project team. The SoftTrace Project Co Ordinator becomes the customers direct line of contact for any project queries they will also providing regular updates on project progress, scheduling meetings and responding to phone calls or e mails directly. The Project Co Ordinator will also horizon scan the work schedule highlighting any possible impediment to project deliverables. At SoftTrace a successful project is one that seamlessly integrates with the customers site, on time, on budget delivering on quality, compliance and cost savings.

Software Customisation

No two milk processing facilities are the same, as no two user requirement specifications are the same. At SoftTrace we have developed our software solutions to be fully configurable. Our customers have specific process needs, instrument interface requirements, and existing production automation systems that require integration with the SoftTrace system. Our software operations teams of development and testing design, create the software functionality to meet our customer’s needs.

Data Migration

During the implementation of a new software system the question of data migration will always arise. “How do we get the legacy data and information from the now obsolete system to the SoftTrace system, that will involve a lot of manual data transfer wont it?” At SoftTrace we fully understand that your legacy data is critical for business continuity, traceability, legislative, accredited standards and customer specification compliance. SoftTrace will assist in the migration of legacy data through; data migration feasibility assessment, audit of the legacy data system, documented data mapping, rules and transformation, data migration implementation & training, and ongoing customer care support & training.

Hardware Implementation

SoftTrace can provide assistance with hardware infrastructure, our experienced technical consultants work with on-site or off-site contract IT departments to assist with technical specifications, hardware integration and instrument interfaces in preparation for a SoftTrace software implementation project.

Database & Application Licensing

As a registered Partner of Microsoft (Microsoft for Partners Program) and Oracle (Oracle Partner Network) SoftTrace can offer its customers significant savings on customer database and licensed user requirements. The SoftTrace software system is run on either MS-SQL or Oracle database. Our technical consultants can provide assistance and advise on the best platform to fit the specific end user customer requirements.

Training & Support

user training is critical to our customers getting the very best out of our software system. At SoftTrace every project implementation is accompanied by training of our customers on their new SoftTrace system implementation. We deliver; scheduled on-site training, dedicated customer training manuals, IT user functional design specifications, customer specific documentation, user acceptance testing, and go live on-site assistance and support

Once the project is successfully implemented and goes live the SoftTrace team will remain in contact offering on going technical support, our software operations team are available to provide functional enhancements, software updates, new version upgrades and customised reports.

Our SoftTrace team of customer care technicians have been trained in every aspect of our customers systems and business processes. Our dedicated skilled technicians provide ongoing customer through our customer care phone line, by e mail, by remote access to the customers system or through on-site support.
